My first poem in English

Life was always ahead
Across the fish pond, in the silent garden,
Down the stream
Mildly waving against the logs,
Gleaming around the bay,
Bursting into laughs in the other car of the train,
At the forbidden beach —a bashful glare of joy.
You thought it hid, but it didn’t
It was there when you turned around, when you walked away,
Smiling and nodding,
But you saw the wall, the cracks, the betrayal
As something appeared on the other side.
